Sweet and Spicy Bacon Chicken

I originally saw this recipe and though very vague, fell in love. It was quick, easy and I had leftover bacon to use, so it was a win-win situation to me. However, I was sadly mistaken. Even with all the spices, brown sugar, and bacon, it still had absolutely no flavor. It tasked like we were eating baked chicken with a hint of sugar water. Not at all what I would have expected. So needless to say, I won't be making this one again. If you decide to try it, maybe add more or other spices to the mix. Also, try grilling it instead, which the originator did, though the recipe said to bake it as well. If anything, it will give a nice grilled flavor to it. Let me know if you try it and what changes, if any, you make! Enjoy!

Sweet and Spicy Bacon Chicken

Ingredients
4 chicken breasts, cut into thirds (12 pieces)
12 bacon slices
salt and pepper
2 Tablespoons garlic powder
2 Tablespoons chili powder
1/2 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.

Season the chicken with the garlic powder, chili powder, and, salt and pepper.  Wrap a piece of bacon around each piece of chicken and roll in brown sugar.  Place in baking dish and bake 30-40 minutes, until done.
